KreuzwertheimWhenthe gates to this year’s Caravan Salon (29.08.-07.09.2025) open at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center at the end of August, the TISCHER Freizeitfahrzeuge GmbH stand (Hall 12/Stand B30) will be fully geared towards innovation. Managing Director Patrick Sauer and the entire staff of the renowned Main-Franconian manufacturing company are not resting on their laurels. Instead, they want to sharpen and focus the company’s independent profile with exciting new products:
“As our market observation and, above all, numerous specific customer inquiries show, compact drop-down cabins as the crowning glory of agile pick-ups have recently also become a trend among younger target groups, small families and sporty camping fans. For us, this is the reason to think about cabin concepts in an even more family-friendly way and, above all, with younger adventure fans in mind. Based on this, we are presenting innovative solutions that we have created, refined and optimized. The potential for individual, unique and self-sufficient leisure adventures is always important.”

Successful TRAIL 280S model: more family-friendly – also for the VW T7

With the TRAIL/BOX 280/280S cab models, TISCHER was already able to present the comfortable, ride-along home especially for the VW T4, T5 and T6 flatbed vehicles years ago. Now developers and designers have once again concentrated on the floor plan and layout to make the TRAIL 280S model variant with side entry even more family-friendly. In other trade fair news, the 280 cab variants can also be fitted perfectly to the new VW T7 platform van on request. This is the successor model to the VW T6 and will be available from the start of 2026.

TISCHER cab concept for flatbed pick-ups

As a specialist for individual and special bodies, TISCHER is constantly using its existing expertise to make striking further developments to its various product lines. For example, a new cab especially for basic vehicles with a flatbed will soon be launched. Pick-ups of this type are often referred to in Germany as municipal flatbeds, tray models or UTE beds. In these vehicle models, the loading area behind the cab is flat throughout and has fold-down, removable drop sides at the sides and rear. This provides plenty of space for the cab layout.

• The new TISCHER cabin concept is intended in particular for camping fans who want to travel with a horse or motorcycle trailer, but for whom a towing capacity of 3.5 tons is also relevant.
• This can also be an excellent solution for families with 2 to 3 smaller children. TISCHER offers the option of installing a comfortable bunk bed so that there is enough sleeping space.
• However, the new cabin is also very suitable for campers with expensive e-bikes and bicycles that do not hang on the outside of the bike rack, but need to be transported well protected in a segment of the cabin.
